ABOUT

Organizational Leadership Pro Seminar one and two was very rewarding. The experience kept me thinking about what kind of leader I wanted to be. We invested a lot of time in this class figuring out the person we want to be in the future. What I discovered doing these assignments will help me for the rest of my life. My teacher encouraged class conversations, which made the lecture effective and fun. My goal in life is to be involved with politics. I learned how to use the skills taught to me in this Bachelors program, to help me with my goal in the long run.
Personal Narrative:
Ever since I can remember I had to understand what it means to feel pain, see pain and allow it to motivate me. Throughout my life I had great experiences as well as bad, positive experiences as well as negative and opportunities that only I could go through for better or worse. When I was in the third grade my teacher told me I was a leader, I didn’t think I was capable of being one at the time, but later in my life would prove her right and me on a journey to figure out how she could see leadership in me.
I come from Cleveland, Ohio where it’s called “Believeland” or “The Land” for short. It’s called “Believeland” because all we got is our beliefs in sports that constantly kept failing until LeBron James came along. I must of seen him play over a dozen times because when you make it coming from Ohio people automatically support you because how hard it is. I am an only child, my mother who is a single parent named Janet Thompson raised me.
